Meet The Team: Emily Stumpf

As our Founder and CEO, Randy Ware likes to say, “People do business with people, not companies.” At WestCMR, we put a strong emphasis on our team through our competitive compensation and unparalleled benefits, but also events scheduled by our Employee Experience committee. In hopes you’ll get to know them as well as we do, we have put together this brand new series of short spotlight blogs.

At WestCMR, each member plays a key role in achieving our goals. Monthly, we take the time to highlight individuals who stand out for their exceptional contributions. To start 2024 on an amazing note, January’s employee spotlight is a remarkable employee, Emily Stumpf.

Emily has been with WestCMR for 2 years now, yet it’s hard to imagine a time without Emily’s bubbly personality! Before WestCMR, Emily went to college at Mansfield University. During her college experience, Emily played Division 2 soccer. This competitive nature led Emily to continue her education in sales, a similar environment. She furthered her education at Medical Sales College where she studied Spine, Trauma, and Orthopedic Medical Sales.

Emily has recently been promoted to Assistant Sales Manager and runs the European and Canadian divisions for GeoSurgical (our sister company). From growing in the company to visiting Germany for Medica, 2023 was a memorable year for Emily from a career standpoint. While these fun events make every day different, a normal day-to-day for Emily consists of prospecting, interacting with customers, helping teammates, and working to perfect the database.

WestCMR’s company culture and growth opportunities are what caught Emily’s eye, yet ever since, she has found new reasons to fall in love with the company. When I asked Emily her favorite memory at WestCMR, she said, “Our 25th anniversary party was so fun, hanging out with coworkers who have become my work family. It was great to reminisce on the 25 years that WestCMR has been in business and all that has been accomplished.”

Emily strives to be on the knowledge level as her biggest influences, her director and sales/acquisitions managers, and continues to work towards inspiring people the same way. If she was advising those interested in a career at WestCMR and/or her current team members, she would say, “Just keep working hard and performing at your top level. You get what you give in the industry, and the harder you work, the more you will be recognized for it,”

When it comes to having Emily as an employee, imagine the sunrise, as she brightens every room she walks into. Here’s to her success and future endeavors at WestCMR!
