In November, WestCMR on behalf of Keep Pinellas Beautiful organized a Beach Clean-Up along Indian Rocks Beach. The team covered approximately 5 miles of shoreline and collected a total of 22.93lbs of trash. Using an app called Clean Swell, they logged items collected in order to analyze the different types of trash polluting the beaches. On more than one occasion, visitors of the beach went out of their way to voice their appreciation. It was truly a fulfilling and eye-opening experience for all involved.
