WestCMR attends fashion show benefitting Children's Dream Fund
WestCMR was proud to be the RaysUp Sponsor of Children’s Dream Fund’s inspiring Rays on the Runway event. After a 5-year hiatus, this event returned on August 15th at Power Design’s headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. This remarkable event brought the community together for a night of hope and inspiration as our local Tampa Bay Rays baseball players and their significant others paired with courageous children battling life-threatening illnesses.
In front of a room filled with 450 guests, these incredible children walked the runway alongside their baseball heroes, displaying huge smiles and some creativity. It was a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength these children embody. This event set a record for the amount raised for this event, benefitting the Children’s Dream Fund. It also brought much-needed awareness to this fantastic organization and its life-changing impact on children.
WestCMR was thrilled to witness and show our support for Merrick, one of the kids participating in the event and a beloved member of our WestCMR family who we first met at our annual Cut Funds a Cure event, which benefits pediatric cancer. Seeing Merrick shine on the runway filled us with immense pride.
Our CEO, Randy Ware, is a passionate advocate for the Children’s Dream Fund and a driving force behind WestCMR’s involvement. His dedication and leadership have opened opportunities for our team members to get involved and become passionate about the work this organization is doing. We are grateful for his commitment to making a difference in the lives of our local children. With 15 WestCMR employees in attendance, we proudly represented our company and committed to supporting this incredible cause.
